The Extraordinary Courage of Donald Trump

trump-al-smith

With a little over two weeks before the election it’s time that we acknowledge the extraordinary courage demonstrated by Donald Trump during this presidential campaign. Merriam-Webster’s defines courage as, “The ability to do something that you know is difficult or dangerous.”

Trump is a renowned businessman and an entrepreneur who has successfully marketed his brand and image for decades. His construction business has altered the Manhattan skyline forever while his celebrity status created a long-running television ratings hit.

However, while he has no doubt been political for decades, he is not a politician. That is something to remember. And it’s also why his courage is extraordinary.

Trump: A Far From Perfect Fighting Chance

I used to love politics.

I suppose in a way, I had an advantage. Born in the late 70s, I grew up in Reagan’s America. By the time I was eight years old, I watched the nightly news with my dad every single day. We didn’t talk about it unless I had questions, but it was an unspoken ritual; a thing we shared. I remember that feeling of there being a real man in the White House; a man of courage, and honor, a man who could inspire and lead but wouldn’t talk down to the little guy. I wrote him a letter once, when I was about nine. I got a courteous reply — not from him, of course, but from a White House staffer sending back a pre-signed template in his name — but to me, it was the same thing, and I was elated. Being a little kid with a man like Reagan in the White House was not all that different from being a little kid with a good dad. You trusted him to protect you, provide for you, and do whatever dad stuff needed doing. Whatever came up, he could handle it. Even when you weren’t paying close attention to one another — you doing your thing, he doing his — his mere presence was comforting.

All Catholics Have a Moral Obligation To Vote Against Hillary Clinton

Sound shocking? It’s not. It is simply the only conclusion one comes to when one looks at the principles and moral laws involved. As a guide, we will be quoting from ‘The Moral Obligation of Voting” written by the Rev. Titus Cranny, S.A, M.A, S.T.L in 1952. As Fr. Cranny states:

Trump Praises Mother Teresa in Video; Hillary Loving Press Bashes Her

Yesterday, Donald Trump posted a very classy tribute video to Mother Teresa on her canonization day.

In contrast, Hillary’s surrogate newspaper, the Washington Post, took the occasion of Mother Teresa’s canonization to publish a disgusting attack piece against the Catholic Saint:

In India, where Teresa carried out the majority of her work, that legacy was called into question last year, when the head of the Hindu nationalist group Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) sparked outrage by criticizing her intentions.

“It’s good to work for a cause with selfless intentions. But Mother Teresa’s work had ulterior motive, which was to convert the person who was being served to Christianity,” RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said at the opening of an orphanage in Rajasthan state in February 2015, the Times of India reported. “In the name of service, religious conversions were made. This was followed by other institutes, too.”

Hillary Clinton “In Awe Of” and “Enormously Admires” a Racist Anti-Catholic Bigot

Hillary Clinton: ” I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision,” …“I am really in awe of her, there are a lot of lessons we can learn from her life”

So spoke Hillary Clinton upon receiving a Margaret Sanger award from Planned Parenthood in 2009. But who is Margaret Sanger?

Arina Grossu wrote the following in a Washington Times article entitled, “Margaret Sanger, racist eugenicist extraordinaire“:

A Clinton Presidency: The Coming Christian Persecution

Persecution

If you can only send your conservative, pro-life, Christian friends one article to try to convince them to vote for Trump this November, this one is it. Share it far and wide! It comes from Wayne Grudem written for Townhall and it is excellent. We were going to try to compile an article just like this one cataloguing the horrors of a Clinton presidency one by one. Thankfully, Mr. Grudem did all of our work for us. If this does not convince every pro-life conservative Christian to vote Trump in November, I don’t know what will.

Excerpts from Mr. Grudem’s piece are below. If you only read one persuasive article to vote against Hillary Clinton this election season, make sure this is it:

Hillary “Communes” With Dead People? Reason 5,000 for Christians to Vote Trump

Hillary The Conjuring

Just when we thought Hillary could not get any stranger or more repulsive to orthodox Christians we find this. Bill Clinton said the following on October 17, 2012, during the dedication of Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park:

A special thanks to the members of the Roosevelt family who are here. And the one who is not, Eleanor, who made sure that the four freedoms were included in the preamble to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. I know that because, as all of you famously learned when I served as president, my wife, now the secretary of state, was known to commune with Eleanor on a regular basis. And so she called me last night on her way home from Peru to remind me to say that. That Eleanor had talked to her and reminded her that I should say that.

Hillary’s VP Choice is a Slap in the Face to All Catholics

Tim Kaine

Hillary has selected self described “Traditional Catholic” Tim Kaine. Mr. Kaine is so traditional in fact, that he supports abortion rights, public abortion funding, and partial birth abortion. William D’Antonio, a Catholic University sociologist, described Kaine as a “Pope Francis Catholic.” Thus, we are now thrust back to the days of “Catholic” Pro-Choice New York Governor, Mario Cuomo, who famously invented the position that he was “personally opposed” to abortion, but for “a woman’s right to choose.” This moral fig leaf didn’t work then and it doesn’t work now. One cannot be “personally opposed” to the killing of babies, yet not lift a finger to give them any legal protection. Similarly one cannot be “personally opposed” to Hillary, yet not lift a finger to see to it she doesn’t win the Presidency.
